Glass hardening

FLAT HARDENED GLASS

Glass toughening consists in heating the mat to a high temperature, followed by rapid cooling with compressed air. Thanks to the toughening process, the glass structure is strengthened, which gives five times higher bending strength compared to non-tempered glass. Breakage causes the glass to break down into small particles with blunt edges.

minimum glass size: 150 x 350 mm

maximum glass size:

4 – 2400 x 1800 mm

5 – 19 – 2400 x 4200 mm

BENT HARDENED GLASS

bending and toughening glass consists in heating the mat to a high temperature, bending it in a special mechanical process, and then rapidly cooling with compressed air. Thanks to the bending process, we obtain the required shape, and through the toughening process the glass structure is strengthened, which gives five times higher bending strength compared to non-tempered glass. Breakage causes the glass to break down into small particles with blunt edges.

minimum glass size: 250 (arc) x 350

maximum glass size: 2200 (arc) x 4200

shapes and radii: cylinder sections, single beam bending
